Why is ACN considered a scam? As with all MLM companies, consumers are cautious to get involved. To become an ACN rep, you must pay $499 to the company. This is the first warning bell for most people. Why do I need to pay? If I work for ACN shouldn’t they be paying me? The second warning bell comes when people hear stories about reps who earn $10,000 a month, and do so very easily. $10,000 a month, and I don’t need to work hard?! Surely, this is too good to be true? However, the most alarming warning bell is the fact that thousands of reps have left ACN because they have not made a single penny.
In summary, people pay $499, with hopes and dreams of earning thousands and thousands of dollars quickly and easily. The reality? Long hours, hard work, with no guarantee of making any money what so ever.

Wrong. ACN are a legitimate company, and are in no way a scam. Several attempts to sue the company for fraudulent activities have been thrown out of the window. Because ACN are actually selling a product, and revenue is earnt from sales, ACN qualifies as a legitimate company. Legally speaking, ACN are squeaky clean and are not a scam.

The media is filled with stories about murders, hurricanes and thefts. Very rarely are you bombarded with good news in the same way. One story about a rep losing $499 can spread like wildfire, leading to ACN’s reputation as a scam overpowering any success stories. There are lots of success stories out there, however these are shadowed by the more interesting, more appealing trauma stories. Believe it or not, you CAN make money with ACN.

You can make $10, 000 per month, however this will not happen immediately. It will take alot of time and effort before you are earning at that level. Sure, there are reps who promise that you will be making $10,000 per month in 4 months time. Think of them like the dodgy salesman who sells you a new car, only for the exhaust to fall off after 2 miles. Avoid being suckered in by these reps. Make sure you know the facts, and fully understand the business model, and what you are letting yourself in for.
These reps are giving ACN a bad reputation. When reps do not meet these unrealistic expectations, they naturally feel as if they have been scammed and conned. ACN themselves do not endorse this message, and make it very clear on their website that not everyone will be successful as a rep.

Imagine this, you join ACN with a positive attitude and good work ethic, only to find out that it is not at all like it has been made out to you to be. You now have a choice: quit and lose all your time and money that you’ve invested thus far, or continue on. Being determined and unwilling to accept failure, you soldier on. But the problems never get any better, only worse. You burn through all your contacts, burning bridges and destroying your reputation in the process. Most of the time you feel like you are moving backwards, despite all your work, not forward. But you know that quitting, which the voice in the back of your head is telling you to do, is not an option. It not only means failure, it means all your financial goals will never come true in this business. That means your dreams will never come true. So you continue to soldier on.

But the way the world works never changes, and people fundamentally don’t change either. People will always be leary of MLM and pyramid schemes and continue to blow you off, or quit soon after you sign them up. You now realize this is a losing battle, even despite your wishful thinking and positive attitude. But to quit now? So much time and money has been wasted! All those naysayers will get to finally say “I told you so!” How embarassing and depressing this will be. To finally be forced to give up and admit that you were scammed into trying to make a bad business work. Then realizing how many others you made lose money, all for nothing. It’s not only depressing and upsetting, but it’s an outrage. And who wants to be made to feel like this? It’s easier to just continue losing money and turn a blind eye to the inevitable rather than owning up to this failure.
This is why people stay in ACN. Most of them mean well, but they become emotionally and financially “locked in”, which is exactly what ACN wants. Were it not for this psychological tactic, ACN would never be able to keep their reps locked in for years and years, throwing good money after bad at a losing business. Bottomline, don’t join ACN unless you want this to happen to you.
Just like we have read, ACN could look like a scam, but it is not. Yes there is a lot of those pyramid company out there. Yes some will tell you, you will make thousand of dollar per months. Some do, and some don’t do it, even some of them make nothing. The key is, work, work, work, and of course some hard work. Do not forget, there is no easy way out, except if your dad is Bill Gates, and even there. Plus like one say, “If you look at your company schema, how would it look like.
